Shawty Lo Dead on September 21, 2016
COD: Hit and Run Accident
We are sad to report that Carlos Walker, better known by his stage name Shawty Lo, has just been killed in a hit and run car accident. He was only 40. This was reported by @Headkrack on Twitter earlier today. He leaves behind 11 kids that will now grow up without their father. People say he was recently seen on Snapchat and Instagram leaving the Blue Flame Lounge the night of the accident. He made his last update on Twitter about 5 hours ago.
We will keep you updated when we learn more details about the incident, but as of today, the Hip Hop World has lost a legend.
Fulton County police say the crash happened about 2:20 a.m. and temporarily blocked the I-285 ramp to Cascade Road, according to Channel 2 Action News.
A person was sent flying out of a car and two others were injured in a fiery and deadly hit-and-run crash early Wednesday on I-285 south.
The ramp has since been cleared.
The accident happened when a white Audi was hit by another vehicle and sent over a guardrail. The car hit two trees and burst into flames.
One person was killed and two people in the car were injured and taken to a hospital, Channel 2 reported.
Police are still searching for one driver in the crash.
No other details were released.
With deep regret I have to report this morning that #ShawtyLo has been killed in a hit and run accident. More details to follow.
